Man and his Man
Man and his Man
Stand in the ocean
Where Squalls move fast
Angry
Intense
Sea ripped apart.
Man and his Man
Have braced
Against such tirades
Eons upon time.
Man and his Man
Stand apart from the land
Metamorphosed
By the gods.
Man and his Man
Beaten by waves
Battered by wind
Resilient to all.
Man and his Man
Never place for man.
Birds soar
Seals swim.
Man and his Man
Stand in the ocean
Sun shines
Peaceful
Waves lap as one
All is calm.
Man and his Man
Resplendent
Isolation.
Isolation.

If only Man and his Man did not stand apart from the land... Lovely imagery, Claire.
Hi thank you for your comment on my blog. how did you discover my blog. I do travel but not in England , I prefer going to Mainland europe.. but not doing any travelling at the moment as recovering from a broken ankle.
I have lots of friends throughout the world who send me cards and this was started a year or so a go,
I watched the sea for a long time and when I found out their name Man and his man that intrigued me too.Hence the poem. Claire
Nice poem, you write very well :-)
Nice poem :)
Welcome Eva Marie and thanks for your comment. Man and his Man are two large rocks which stand off the north Cornish coast.
That's great - I've added you to my blog list as well :)
Enjoy your evening.
Lovely poem, thanks for explaining Man and his Man :-)
