by Glengonnar water (South Lanarkshire)

travel south

pause awhile
sleep peacefully
to the symphony
of flowing water

dawn appears
sun rises
crimson sky
world awakes
crisp clear air

wake up call
again again again

travel on
Cornwall bound

Lady M: Not a sign makes a load of difference but no big mountains either.

I liked the way you said "again again again". It sounded like the grouse's call. Very nice!

upwoods: I like to hear the grouse call maybe I should put the sound on my alarm easier on the ear than some sounds!
