Hebridian storm
Wind was howling round the corners
all night long
growling louder
waking
then pausing
The sea is mad today
wild undisciplined
ferocious in intent
brutish unforgiving
feral and unruly
squally
then tempestuous
all elements untamed
This windswept island
touched by natures fiercest broom.

I have a new favorite poem of yours - this is amazing!
krouth: Thanks glad you liked it. The storm is still outside going strong.
Be safe my friend.
I am safe in an old stone house on the edge of a raging sea loch just watching the storm continue to rage but thanks anyway.
You have described it so well, I can imagine being there.
