Transient

It
rained so hard
it
woke me from my dreams
battering
beating on the roof
there's
a storm outside it seems.
Walking
past the puddles
whilst glancing at the sky
Prussian
blue above
sun
shining from on high.
Pictures
in the puddles
nowhere
imperfection
immaculately
clear
every
puddle holds reflection.
Images
are fleeting
so
natural to see
clouds
traverse quite quickly
a bird, some grass, a tree.
The
water is so transient,
sunshine
slowly dries
images
evaporate
empty mirrors for your eyes.
Observant
appreciate
many
just pass near
gallery
is empty
pictures
gone from here.

Doris; So glad you like my gallery please come as many times as you like. X
I feel the rhyme, rhythm and use of alliteration work well because they enhance the rain. Your idea of pictures in a gallery is also good...I particulary like the lines..."Pictures in the puddles...holds reflection" and " empty mirrors for your eyes" Well done!
Yvonne: Another one that you like I am so pleased. Thanks for your comments.
