with expectation
of
beyond the window
blue
skies reign
but
no
just
rain
drizzle,
mizzle, damp,
heavens
emptying
pouring,
siling,
raining
'cats and dogs'
or
if you prefer 'pink elephants'
it's
lagging it down
slugs,
snails, ducks
in
paradise unequalled
crops
rotting in fields
farmers,
gardeners, despair
flooded
homes
occupiers
distressed
forecasters
blame
the
jet stream
too
far south
citizens
crave warm
sunny
skies
vitamin
D
BBQ,
picnics, al fresco meals
summer
clothes, no coats
but
on and on
this
rain it falls
day
after day
all
night too
grey
skies reign
