haiku poem 1
twelve days after deluge

sky blue sun perfect
floods gone great rain threat died too
big puddles remain

royal then navy
above few minute  clouds float
peach fades disappears

light lost black conquers
moon illuminates cloud wisps
stars accompany

*thanks to Chris (Benjibopper) see my favourite blogs, for the idea of  this format of verses in , haikus from a poet in Nova Scoteia.*

a hole in the sky

clouds of grey
multiple shades
jigsaw in the sky
moved by the air

low level hanging
threatening showers
blown west to east
racing the wind

above and so high
white of a swan's wing
appears in a flash
before melting away

now mare's tails
visible through
 window in grey
wispy untouched

the grey pulls apart
white dissipates
perfect blue
purest of pure

for a magical moment
look into space
through
a hole in the sky
