Loss of innocence

On Friday 22^nd July

the beautiful country of Norway

lost its innocence

once lost can never be regained.

I weep for the people

I weep for society

but most of all

I weep for the soul of the country.

Unquestioningly I weep for Norway

in turmoil right now.

I think of you

as you ascend from the deep.

To the Norway

you knew before

now soiled with evil

so alien to your land.


Will you ever be the same? 
It is not possible
changed for ever
but you will recover
to be the great democracy you are.
